Foued Mahouachi

Bonjour, I am Mr. Mahouachi and I am glad to be part of the GEMS CIA family. I joined GEMS Cambridge International School, Abu Dhabi in 2014. Since then I have been involved in several aspects of our school’s life, from being a Head of Year, a Head of Department to a Deputy Headteacher more recently.

My career in education started in France in 2005 where I was a study supervisor, I have taught languages since 2009 and prior to joining our school, I was teaching French and Spanish in North London.

I completed my degree in British and American studies in Aix en Provence, France and my PGCE in Oxford, UK. I believe that every day is a school day and welcome every opportunity to learn and help others develop their skills.           

I am honoured to be teaching in our school and seeing our learners develop into generous, mature, agile, resilient and successful young adults. My role as a pastoral lead has allowed me to work closely with a range of year groups and parents and I am looking forward to our next steps leading us to becoming a World-Class High-Performance Learning school.
